The European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) has received reports of cases in which messages were unlawfully sent in the name of EEX. These messages falsely claimed that private individuals could participate directly in CO₂ emissions trading on EEX. EEX is in no way affiliated with the domains web.eeexch.com and eeexch.com, the chat service “EEX Live Human Customer Service,” or the email address eexrechtsabteilung@gmail.com.
Only legal entities are eligible to trade on EEX markets; EEX does not maintain business relationships with private individuals. We therefore urge you to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited calls or messages offering investment opportunities.
